By using ralcolor.net (Swatch Ledger) you accept these terms. They are short because the site is simple.

An unofficial, approximate reference

Swatch Ledger is an unofficial RAL Classic colour reference. RAL is a trademark of RAL gGmbH. The colours on this site are approximations displayed by your screen, and the numbers we derive from them (hex, RGB, HSL, CMYK, Lab, colour differences) are approximations too. They will differ from printed RAL colour cards and from real paint, powder and coatings, which also vary between makers, batches, gloss levels and lighting.

Do not order paint, powder or materials, approve a colour or settle a dispute on the strength of a swatch on this site. Always check a physical sample or an official colour card first. We are not responsible for costs that follow from relying on a screen colour.

Practical advice

The colour notes describe general practice. Products differ, so always follow the instructions and safety data sheet of the product you use, and the rules that apply where you live. Some coatings, solvents, old paints and processes carry real health and safety risks; if in doubt, use a professional.
