How RAL 7013 reads

With an olive brown warmth, brown grey is a mid dark grey that is lighter and warmer than RAL 7022 umbra grey. It looks earthy and calm.

Where it turns up

It suits garden buildings, fences, machinery and timber cladding. Matt or satin finishes keep it from looking muddy, and a sample next to the surrounding brick or planting shows how warm it really is.

Ordering RAL 7013 in paint or powder

Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 7013" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
