How RAL 5018 reads

Turquoise blue is a clear teal, greener and lighter than RAL 5021 water blue. It sits on the border between blue and green and can look either, depending on the light.

Where it turns up

It suits doors, bikes, garden furniture and shopfronts. Teals vary a lot from screen to screen, so trust a physical sample over the swatch.

Ordering RAL 5018 in paint or powder

Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 5018" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
