How RAL 5025 reads

On screen pearl gentian blue reads as a muted petrol blue near RAL 5009 azure blue. The real paint carries a pearlescent sheen that shimmers in light, giving it far more life than the swatch shows.

Where it turns up

It suits bikes, furniture, decorative metal and trim. A flat screen swatch cannot show the pearlescent effect, so spray a test panel before ordering a batch.

Ordering RAL 5025 in paint or powder

Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 5025" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
