How RAL 6004 reads
Blue green is a dark teal, bluer and darker than RAL 6005 moss green and greener than RAL 5020 ocean blue. It reads deep and cool, and indoors it can pass for a very dark grey.
Where it turns up
It suits front doors, window frames, railings and shopfronts. Because it looks nearly black indoors, view the sample outside, ideally against the brick or render it will sit beside.
Ordering RAL 6004 in paint or powder
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 6004" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
