How RAL 6012 reads

Black green is a very dark, greyed green close to charcoal with a cool green tint. It is greyer than RAL 6009 fir green and calmer than RAL 6007 bottle green, a quiet colour for big surfaces.

Where it turns up

It suits front doors, railings, window frames and garden buildings. A dark primer helps coverage, and the green only becomes clear on a sample viewed in daylight.

Ordering RAL 6012 in paint or powder

Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 6012" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
