How RAL 9023 reads
Pearl dark grey is a mid grey with a pearlescent shimmer, looking on screen like a slightly cooler version of RAL 9022 pearl light grey. In real light it glows softly.
Where it turns up
It suits frames, trim, furniture and decorative metal. A flat screen swatch cannot show the pearl effect, so spray a test panel.
Ordering RAL 9023 in paint or powder
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 9023" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
