How RAL 1028 reads

Very bright and strongly orange, melon yellow goes further towards orange than RAL 1007 daffodil yellow and comes close to RAL 2000 yellow orange. It has a juicy, high energy look on any surface.

Where it turns up

It suits machinery, signs, municipal equipment and attention grabbing accents. Choose an exterior grade topcoat over a white primer, because saturated orange yellows lose strength in full sun.

Ordering RAL 1028 in paint or powder

Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 1028" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
