How RAL 1007 reads
Daffodil yellow is one of the most orange of the yellows, sitting right on the border with the orange group. It is a touch warmer than RAL 1006 maize yellow and noticeably deeper than RAL 1003 signal yellow.
Where it turns up
It is a common choice for machinery, lifting gear, signage and bold doors. Gloss makes it look cleaner and stronger while matt versions can look dusty, so compare samples at the gloss level you will actually order.
Ordering RAL 1007 in paint or powder
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 1007" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
