How RAL 1037 reads
Sun yellow is a warm, saturated orange yellow, very close to RAL 1007 daffodil yellow and a shade brighter on most screens. Only RAL 1028 melon yellow pushes further towards orange in this group.
Where it turns up
It works on signage, machinery, play equipment and feature doors. Use a white or light grey primer, and if you are choosing between this and RAL 1007, compare both on a physical deck.
Ordering RAL 1037 in paint or powder
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 1037" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
