How RAL 6002 reads
Leaf green is a deep, natural green, darker than RAL 6001 emerald green and less blue than RAL 6005 moss green. It looks like summer foliage in partial shade, neither bright nor gloomy.
Where it turns up
It suits garden metal, fencing, gates, sheds and machinery. Deep greens show fading in strong sun, so choose an exterior grade topcoat and keep a little paint back for touching up chips.
Ordering RAL 6002 in paint or powder
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 6002" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
