How RAL 6016 reads
Turquoise green is a strong, mid dark green with a blue cast, greener than RAL 5021 water blue and bluer than RAL 6024 traffic green. It has a clean, saturated look on both wood and metal.
Where it turns up
It suits front doors, shopfronts, bikes and signage. Use a grey primer for coverage, and check the sample in daylight, since blue greens can look duller under warm indoor bulbs.
Ordering RAL 6016 in paint or powder
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 6016" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
