How RAL 6013 reads

Reed green is a pale olive khaki, lighter than RAL 6003 olive green and greener than RAL 1020 olive yellow. It looks like dried reeds at the edge of a pond in late summer.

Where it turns up

It suits garden buildings, fences, render and interiors. Khaki shades read darker and greener on large surfaces, so test a patch at least a metre across before deciding.

Ordering RAL 6013 in paint or powder

Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 6013" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
