How RAL 7002 reads
Olive grey is a mid grey with a clear olive brown warmth, greener than RAL 7006 beige grey and warmer than RAL 7003 moss grey. It reads earthy and soft.
Where it turns up
It suits sheds, fences, render and machinery. Matt and satin finishes look most natural, and the green shows more on a large area than on a small chip.
Ordering RAL 7002 in paint or powder
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 7002" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
