How RAL 6017 reads
May green is a fresh mid green with yellow warmth, close to RAL 6010 grass green but lighter and a little brighter. It looks like new leaves in spring, cheerful without being loud.
Where it turns up
It suits garden furniture, play equipment, planters and signage. Exterior grade paint helps it hold its colour outdoors, and a light primer keeps it clean rather than muddy.
Ordering RAL 6017 in paint or powder
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 6017" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
