How RAL 6024 reads
Traffic green is a clean, saturated mid green with a blue lean, brighter than RAL 6016 turquoise green and very close to RAL 6032 signal green. It is designed to read clearly on signs.
Where it turns up
It is used for signage, safety marking, machinery and doors. Use a light primer and a gloss finish for the best colour hold outdoors.
Ordering RAL 6024 in paint or powder
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 6024" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
