How RAL 7048 reads
Pearl mouse grey is a warm mid grey with a pearlescent sheen, looking on screen like a soft taupe grey. In real light it shimmers gently.
Where it turns up
It suits furniture, trim and decorative panels. A flat screen swatch cannot show the pearlescent effect, so spray a test panel and look at it from several angles and in daylight.
Ordering RAL 7048 in paint or powder
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 7048" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
