How RAL 7005 reads
Mouse grey is a mid to dark grey with a slight green tint, darker than RAL 7004 signal grey and a little greener than RAL 7037 dusty grey. It looks practical and unassuming.
Where it turns up
It suits machinery, gates, frames and cladding. Satin finishes hide fingerprints and small marks, which matters on handles and working surfaces, and a mid grey primer keeps coverage even.
Ordering RAL 7005 in paint or powder
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 7005" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first.
