How RAL 7047 reads
Telegrey 4 is a very light neutral grey, close to RAL 7035 light grey but with less green in it. On large areas it looks almost white, with just enough grey to soften glare.
Where it turns up
It suits interiors, enclosures and machinery. Use a white or light grey primer, and compare it with RAL 7035 on a deck if you are matching existing equipment.
Ordering RAL 7047 in paint or powder
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 7047" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
