How RAL 8022 reads

Black brown is so dark it reads as a warm black in most light. It is darker than RAL 8019 grey brown and warmer than RAL 9005 jet black.

Where it turns up

It suits doors, window frames, railings and furniture where a softer black is wanted. View the sample in sunlight to see the brown warmth.

Ordering RAL 8022 in paint or powder

Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 8022" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
