How RAL 9018 reads

Papyrus white is a pale grey white with a faint green cast, darker than RAL 9002 grey white and lighter than RAL 7035 light grey. It looks like old paper or a cloudy sky.

Where it turns up

It suits interiors, machinery and enclosures. Compare it with other whites and pale greys before ordering, since it sits between the two and looks different beside each.

Ordering RAL 9018 in paint or powder

Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 9018" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
