How RAL 2013 reads

Deep and coppery, pearl orange reads on screen like a dark burnt orange near RAL 8023 orange brown. The real finish has a pearlescent sheen that glints and changes as the light moves across it.

Where it turns up

It suits furniture, light fittings, trim and decorative metal. A flat screen swatch cannot show the pearlescent effect, so spray a test panel and look at it from several angles before ordering.

Ordering RAL 2013 in paint or powder

Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 2013" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
