How RAL 5023 reads

Distant blue is a soft, greyed mid blue, slightly bluer and lighter than RAL 5000 violet blue. It reads calm and hazy, like hills seen far off.

Where it turns up

It works on doors, sheds, interiors and furniture. Look at the sample on a grey day as well as a sunny one, as its mood changes with the weather.

Ordering RAL 5023 in paint or powder

Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 5023" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
