How RAL 6007 reads
Bottle green is a very dark green with a faint yellow warmth, darker than RAL 6002 leaf green and warmer than RAL 6009 fir green. In shade it can look black, and in sun it glows like old glass.
Where it turns up
It suits front doors, railings, gates and garden furniture. Dark greens look black indoors, so check samples in daylight; a dark primer under it saves a coat on bare wood or metal.
Ordering RAL 6007 in paint or powder
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 6007" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
