How RAL 8007 reads
Fawn brown is a mid to dark warm brown, darker than RAL 8003 clay brown and less red than RAL 8015 chestnut brown. It looks like a deer's coat in autumn.
Where it turns up
It works on front doors, fences, garden furniture and window frames. Satin finishes hide brush marks and keep the warmth visible, and a sample beside real timber shows how close it sits.
Ordering RAL 8007 in paint or powder
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 8007" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
