| Hex (sRGB) | #F7FBF5 |
|---|---|
| RGB | 247, 251, 245 |
| HSL | 100°, 43%, 97% |
| CMYK (naive) | 2, 0, 2, 2 |
| CIE Lab (from sRGB) | 98.2, -2.4, 2.4 |
| Relative luminance | 95.4% |
| Text contrast | white text 1:1, black text 20.1:1 |
Values are derived from the approximate hex above. CMYK is a simple conversion, not a print recipe: printers convert through their own profiles. Luminance is a screen figure, not a measured light reflectance value (LRV) from a paint data sheet.
Traffic white is a clean, bright white with a faint cool cast, cooler than RAL 9010 pure white and close to RAL 9003 signal white. It is crisp and modern.
It is very common on window frames, doors and garage doors, and also suits interiors and machinery. A white primer helps; plan for two coats.
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 9016" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
