How RAL 1011 reads
Here the beige turns properly brown: a mid toned, warm tan much darker than RAL 1001 beige. Compared with RAL 1024 ochre yellow it is less yellow and closer to light saddle leather or corrugated cardboard.
Where it turns up
It suits interior trim, older caravans, shed doors and vintage machinery. Warm tans can look flat in matt, so satin is a good middle ground; hold the sample next to the wood or brick it will sit beside.
Ordering RAL 1011 in paint or powder
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 1011" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
