How RAL 1014 reads

Mellow and buttery, ivory is a cream that is clearly yellower and darker than RAL 1015 light ivory. It has a warm, slightly old fashioned character, like piano keys or an old enamel kitchen sign.

Where it turns up

It suits kitchen units, vintage appliances, garden furniture and classic interiors. Ivory looks yellower under warm lighting, so view the sample at the time of day the room is used most.

Ordering RAL 1014 in paint or powder

Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 1014" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
