How RAL 1036 reads
A warm, bronze toned gold sits behind this flat olive brown swatch. Pearl gold uses a pearlescent pigment that gives a soft golden glow in real light, quite unlike the plain, solid RAL 1024 ochre yellow.
Where it turns up
It suits decorative metalwork, furniture, light fittings and interior trim. A flat swatch cannot show the pearl effect; spray a test panel with the same gun and clear coat you will use, since application changes the result.
Ordering RAL 1036 in paint or powder
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 1036" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
