How RAL 3018 reads
Strawberry red is a bright, slightly pinkish red, cooler and lighter than RAL 3000 flame red. It is cheerful and saturated, with more pink in it than any of the signal reds.
Where it turns up
It suits doors, furniture, bikes, signs and playground metal. A white or light grey primer keeps it bright; plan for two coats.
Ordering RAL 3018 in paint or powder
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 3018" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first.
