How RAL 8014 reads
Sepia brown is a dark, cool brown with a slight grey cast, darker than RAL 8011 nut brown. It looks like strong coffee or old photographs.
Where it turns up
It suits window frames, doors, garage doors and cladding. A satin finish is forgiving on large panels; use a dark primer for coverage and check the sample in daylight.
Ordering RAL 8014 in paint or powder
Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 8014" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
