How RAL 3032 reads

Pearl ruby red looks on screen much like RAL 3004 purple red, a deep, wine toned red. The real finish has a pearlescent sheen that a flat swatch cannot show, giving it a soft glow in good light.

Where it turns up

It suits furniture, decorative metal, bikes and trim. A flat screen swatch cannot show the pearl effect, so spray a test panel and view it from several angles.

Ordering RAL 3032 in paint or powder

Quote the number, not just the name: say "RAL Classic 3032" and add the gloss level, the product type (wall paint, metal paint, powder, aerosol) and the surface. The same number mixed by two makers, or in two gloss levels, can look slightly different, so keep a whole job in one batch and look at a sample in daylight first. The paint counter guide covers the questions to ask.
